Romies

Excellent evening at Romies for my partner’ birthday. We were very lucky to have Felix serve us. He made our experience even better! Food and atmosphere are both wonderful. The food: we had a hard time choosing, all amazing choices! We started off with Amaretto sour and cherry whiskey sour. Outstanding! Followed by exceptional wine. We had the Brutus salad, fried zucchini and the cruddo. Our mains were a burger and ribs. Lots of food but we took some home. To finish the meal, we had the beach pie. Divine! Looking forward to go back in the summer when we can enjoy the terrace! Go, go, go!

This Italian restaurant is one of the best in Montreal. They food is delicious, I loved the foccacia, it’s freshly baked as is everything else on the menu. The menu changes every season from what I understood as they are trying to incorporate seasonal dishes, which is a great concept. You’ll be impressed by the service as they pay attention to detail and make sure you’re having a great experience. Very cozy vibes!!

First time coming here and not my last! Our waiter was great with his recommendations, especially the banana split, which was the highlight of the whole meal.

AMAZING AMAZING AMAZING you need to come here. The food blew us away I don’t know why all burgers aren’t made like Romies. The portions were so generous and the branzino was insane. The vibes 10/10, the ambiance 10/10, even the music was perfect. We spoke to Raegan the owner and she was so nice and welcoming, she even brought us honey butter to try with the cornbread.

Absolutely sensational and a Montreal must-try! Really fun menu to eat through! Super fresh ingredients and a little something for everyone. I don’t think you can go wrong with anything on the menu, but I would recommend trying a bunch of dishes and sharing them. Getting one appetizer and two mains with a guest or date wouldn’t be as fun. Definitely try the pork ribs, the side veg (fried zucchini), and crudo branzino.

Wow ! We had supper at romies and loved it. Our server Kelsey was amazing. The food is incredible and the vibe is nice as well. Highly recommend !!

Romie’s has done an amazing job the aptmosphere, service, and especially the food. I loved my meal here, the food was high quality and simple yet elevated. Their menu makes making a choice simple as you just can’t go wrong. Things to Order: Beef Tartar with potato salad underneath was incredible The Beef Burger and ESPECIALLY the Fries was great (you have to get the the fries). The ribs with the cornbread was great although slightly acidic bbq sauce for me. Most of all you must order the Chocolate Cake for desert, even if you don’t like chocolate cake you will like this one. I will be returning and sending everyone I know here, and likely stopping in just for a slice of this cake. The prices are high but the value is there so there is no complaining.
